Well, if that was actually true about "good animation" and "good action scenes", that would help the show, but it isn't. There's a whole lot of static-character-on-scrolling-background shots, and people flying across static backgrounds and colliding, and other really horribly obvious cost saving animations in the fight scenes. It's kind of weird, you'd think they'd have a big budget for the show, but still you get this.
The animation does get a bit better later on, though, but the early episodes were really painful to watch sometimes.
