update: scallops had little taste, but were saved by the copious application of something in a jar labeled "Moroccan BBQ Sauce." unfortunately I can't find a recipe for it.

I had cheerios and orange tic tacs.

Not to be a cock, but isn't the whole thing about scallops the texture, not the taste (or what of it)? And that they go great with any spicy sauce. Stupid seafood, I only eat grain.

Maybe, I just expected "honey broiled" to mean... sweet or something. I don't care for scallops much really, but they were in the fridge.
