What do you put on your pizza?

I'll try corn, mincedmeat, ham, mushrooms and extra cheese next.

2 Name: Apprentice Chef 05/02/23(Wed)01:33 ID:Heaven

Tandoori chicken.

3 Name: Apprentice Chef 05/02/23(Wed)06:06 ID:Heaven

At home? Sliced(not cubed) ham, hot dogs, mushrooms, tomatoes. Not necessarily all at once.

Buying it's usually Deluxe or Hawaiian.

Hawaiian pizza = spam and macaroni salad?

5 Name: Apprentice Chef 05/02/23(Wed)21:53 ID:Heaven

What? Diced ham and pineapple.

6 Name: Apprentice Chef 05/02/23(Wed)22:01 ID:Heaven

Personally, I still love a simple salami + cheese pizza the best. Burn it almost krispy in the oven and enjoy it with lots of milk!

Depending on what I crave that day, I may want bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, pickled pepperoncini peppers, mushrooms, onions, tomato slices, feta cheese, or all of the above.

Is vegetarian pizza less unhealthy than pizza with meat? I don't know, but it's what I always crave when I want pizza.

Is anyone here a fan of getting those stuffed crust pizzas?

(this spam is to test to see the upgrades are going fine)

11 Name: Apprentice Chef 2005-03-31 18:13 ID:Heaven

Someone please explain this odd love of spam to me...I used to frequent a hawaiian style takeout diner in cali and was always afraid to try the "spam sushi" rolls.

...The macaroni salad was pretty good though.

12 Name: Apprentice Chef 2005-04-08 08:53 ID:Zx/A9vX1

Hawaii is the land of spam. You can get spam everything there. Number one state for per capita spam consumption in the US, Alaska following with number two. Alaska consumes more ice cream per capita however, because Hawaiians eat lotsa shave ice instead.

Hawaiian style spam musubi:
Open a can of spam. Save the can and wash it out, mind the sharp edges. Slice spam into thin patties. Marinate in mixture of mirin, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Fry in a pan with some of the same mixture. Let cool. Cook some rice. Coat inside of spam can with rice vinegar, then pack can about a quarter full of rice. (The vinegar keeps the rice from sticking in the can.) Tap out the formed block of rice and place spam patty atop it. Wrap with a belt of nori. Optionally cut into sushi sized pieces, or serve spam sized pieces instead. Makes six or so. Serve with macaroni salad.

Ham, pineapple and olives. Boring, but good. Sometimes I turn into a manly man and order ham+bacon.

Ah yeah, that's what it was called... still afraid to try it though ;)

Pear and gorgonzola
PEPPERONI
Ham and pineapple
Magherita-style

Definitely no corn, mayonnaise, or squid! I once read that corn is the #1 pizza topping in the world (besides cheese and tomato sauce) because it's so popular in Asia.

Odd. I like corn. I like pizza. I do not think that I would like corn pizza.

18 Name: Apprentice Chef 2005-04-13 03:46 ID:pz9+e+su

My brother used to like corn (with ketchup) a lot, so sometimes it would end up on his pizza. Then again, he was around three.

The two best toppings for pizza are fresh roma tomatos. And sundried tomatoes. I've never used them together though. Might be tomato overload. Crushed garlic is really good too.

...I might be a freak...

but, I really like anchovies and pineapple... on my pizza

24 Name: Apprentice Chef 2005-08-25 01:34 ID:uA8p0WF1

Pineapple is good... but anchovies are bleh.

Pineapple & anchovies together are SUPERBLEH!
Like some older ugly guy dating a cute kindergartener...

I am sorry, Poring. We could never date, I am afraid.

Ham, Pepperoni, and hamburger.

Just a basic three-meat style pizza, replacing sausage with hamburger.

If I'm wanting variety I replace the hamburger with green peppers and replace the pepperoni with mushrooms.

I've been digging pasta pizza lately.
I need to try new sorts of pizza toppings because pizza is pretty much all I eat these days. :-/

>I need to try new sorts of pizza toppings because pizza is pretty much all I eat these days. :-/

Eat something else. Not only because eating just pizza isn't healthy, but also because you're probably already growing tired enough of it to be refreshed by something normal - or at least you will eventually.

I wouldn't know what, really.

I hate pizza :/ Now, whenever we go to Pizza Pizza restaurant, I just have a toasted meatball sub instead. Truly, it is the best fast food!

One time I ate a pizza with sun-dried tomatoes on it. It was pretty weird.

36 Name: Apprentice Chef 2005-11-06 01:19 ID:KlhugBhb

>>35 sun-dried tomatoes = flavour overload

I like italian sausage, pepproni and pineapple to balance out the meats. Bleh, pizza is getting too oily everywhere.

37 Name: Apprentice Chef 2005-11-06 02:24 ID:AMGI1sDh

The local pizza place is getting too cheap these days. Their pizzas continually get smaller, and instead of the styrofoam coffee cup-sized container of sauce they used to throw in with cheese sticks, they give you this little tiny plastic bowl that's only enough for one person. And it's pretty hit-or-miss whether or not you'll get any pepperocinis.

38 Name: dl_juno 2005-11-10 23:17 ID:IyNbiinR

I like my pizza with jalapeno and peperocini peppers, the amount of cheese cut in half, and, on occasion, black olives.

39 Name: SQUISHIE 2005-11-17 08:02 ID:UNE/k54A

I like pretty much anything from California Pizza Kitchen. They have stuff like shrimp scampi pizza, peking duck pizza, and thai chicken. Weird, but good, in my opinion. XD

If you want to make a vegan pizza the best are:

  • an avocado, mashed up into a paste
  • tomato sauce too
  • mushrooms
  • olives

And then you can add whatever else you like.
Bake it all. Avocado + tomato sauce is good
