i have have been trying to atleast get some abs, just a little definition. But i am having a really nasty time at this, its been about 3 weeks and i think i've gotten fatter/more concious of myself. Is diet a big thing or just keep at it?

You should try the Internet exercise machine. Read the monitor lying down, and every time you need to press a key, do a sit-up to get to the keyboard.

Oops, did I just destroy my chances at a patent on this?

Diet is definately important. That's why I'm still fat, even though I work out 5 times a week. :(

What kinds of exercises are you doing?

For lower abs :
Long series of low kicks, done slowly (very slowly).
Without putting your right foot back on the ground, strike, to the left with the inner part, to the right with the edge, to the centre with the central part of your foot, then centre with the upper part of the foot (like kicking a ball)
Put foot on the ground, repeat 8 times.
Do 3 series per leg.

You won't see muscles with that, but you'll got a flat and hrd lower belly.

Antilock Braking System!

Worrying about definition is sad, IMHO. It's nothing but vanity, which nobody except teens care about. If you're fit and healthy, you'll look it, whether or not you have definition.

If you're looking for something more functional, total muscle mass with a little flab is far more useful. God help you if someone like that gets you to the floor.

Spot reduction doesn't work. He'd be better off with a decent diet, a lot of cardio exercise, and some weight-lifting.

I might have misunderstood definition. Seemed to me it was actually having muscles, not having something to show off with. Sorry, English is a foreign langage to me.

Well my point with that exercice was not the look, it's just a consequence of the training I use to improve stamina (especially to avoid cramps and such in my thighs)

I'll not fond off weight-lifting myself, I got a tendency to put on weight too fast with those. Depends on your metabolism I suppose. In some sports it is a bother.

If you're speaking English as a second language, I commend you on understanding the concept of definition in such an obscure sense.
