[NAPALM] Napalm/Homemade Explosives [FUN] (12)

I created my first batch of napalm tonight. At first, I tried using candle wax shavings, but that didn't work. The styrofoam melted nicely; I went through two blocks of the stuff into two cups of gasoline. Someone told me soap works as well.

Another explosive I learned to create was thermite, using 1/4 aluminum shavings, 3/4 rust (these measurements by weight), and magnesium strips to create enough heat to fuse the aluminum and iron.

Anyone else have stories or recipies?

I only ever tried styrofoam+kerosene. I wouldn't really call the result napalm, but it's fun to play with.

doesn't styrofoam let of toxic fumes when burned?

yes. that's why you should put magnesium in your computer and light it on fire like >>2 suggests instead.

Neither fake-o napalm nor thermite are explosives, you nitwits!

Come back when you've tried making at the very least flash powder. Bonus points for stuff that requires actual chemical reactions, and also for any lost fingers and/or eyes.
