so, as we all know, this is the best genre ever. However, it has (to me) been helladead. everyone knows slowdive, ride, my bloody valentine etc. but what's happening now?

i've been listening to a bit of 'all lemon and lime flavors', quite nice, slight guthrie feel to it.
Pine is also ok, aside from the fact that the singer sounds like what'shisname from smashing pumpkins
Serena Maneesh on the other hand is unbelievably good, insanely good some might say, reminiscent of My bloody valentine and possibly jesus lizard with a tiny bit of sonic youth for kicks. It really gives me hope for the genre.

not that this is really the point of the thread, the point is that i need something new to listen to so make recommendations yo
