Hippies in our internet (7)

I am talking about these hippies who are computer illiterate. One thing I hate is the term podcasting. Some DJ from MTV thought hey lets put a talkshow on mp3 and let people download it. And they call it PODcasting because iPOD seems the hippest word to associate with.

Or how iPod seem to these people the only mp3 player in existence to them.

What?

The key thing that makes Podcasting different from just putting a radio show for download on the web is the RSS stream. Are you telling me that hippies or MTV VJs invented RSS streams? Naw, that's all nerds' work.

It's still a silly name.

Podcasting is almost as silly as "blogosphere".

I don't know, I forget most of the names, but some the earlier names they gave streams were sillier. I think one was called "musicaster"

Why do you think hippies are computer illiterate? Allot of the earlier computer nerds WERE hippies.

True, but you still fail for using "allot" for "a (space) lot." Never make this error again.

Seconded. It's not cute, it's only slightly catchy, and it seems kinda lame to me. The biggest achievement for this, I think, is that people have sort of sat up and taken notice. I won't begrudge them that. That's a good thing.
P.S. Blogosphere is still lame, though.
