One needs to be scientific in one's evaluation of utterly and completely nuts. Nothing is black and white. There are degrees of Utter and Complete Nuts-nacy, ranging from a little bit utterly and completely nuts to very much utterly and completely nuts. :)

That'd be kind of like being wantonly and incompletely nuts; clearly a clinically testable condition for people who absolutely insist that they are making sense when they obviously <i>are</i> making sense.
