Hey guys. My old MSI KT4 Ultra decided to crap out on me last night! What are some good suggestions for a replacement board? I have an Athlon XP 2200+, and by preference would like to spend less than $100. Just something basic and good, please!

What kind and speed of ram are you using right now? How many and what type of slots do you need(RAM/PCI/PCIe/AGP/SATA)? What kind of onboard functions do you use(video/audio/etc)?

1x512 Crucial pc2700 333DDR.

I'd like to have at least two RAM slots, by preference. Need a basic AGP4x, onboard audio is fine, 4 or 5 PCI slots. Something with onboard Ethernet would be nice as well.

You should just forget about computers and become a nomadic hunter-gatherer. Get a handful of friends to join you, start a tribe. It'll be fun.

A8V by ASUS. But that's socket 939.
For Socket A, Epox 8RDA3+ is leet.

Here's a roundup of a few Socket A boards. They make a pretty good case for the Epox. http://www.pcper.com/article.php?aid=58
