Hello everyone,

I am thinking about buying a MP3 player, which one do you think I should get? My personal choice right now is the Ipod Shuffle, just because it is the cheapest all of the whole Ipod series and this basically is the only brand that I know. But is there a brand that is better out there that I don't know of?

iRivers and iPods are all I use, I've yet to be dissapointed

If I had to choose, I'd pick the iPod (my personal favorite is the iPod mini)

iPod minis are discontinued and the battery tends to die after a year. It can't hold a change very long. The shuffle is also expected to die after a year.

I love my iPod. I think they're the best.

iPods don't take that long to recharge. I don't know the exact numbers. Maybe 3 hours to fully charge it? You can charge your ipod either by hooking it up to your computer (USB or Firewire) or plugging it into an electrical outlet.

Creatives are another cheap alternative. They are just as good quality as an Ipod, but cheaper. A bad thing about the shuffle is that you never can choose what song you want. Also when picking an mo3 player, you have to consider how much memory you want.
