i'm using a computer i haven't touched in a while, and it seems like while playing mpeg-2 files it has this "elecard" logo thing and displaying a message like "please register your player, visit moonlight.co.il for details" - but! i don't know what the hell this thing is that needs registering, and moonlight.co.il doesn't seem to exist anymore - anyone know what's causing this and/or how i can get rid of it?

The Elecard mpeg-2 driver is a nagging shareware.
Solution, uninstall the Elecard mpeg-2 driver and use a freeware mpeg-2 driver instead (or a player with built-in mpeg-2 capability).

problem is, I don't actually have the Elecard driver - it seems to have come bundled with something else.

ah, never mind. found it, uninstalled it. it came with an old encoder for the GBA Movie Player.
