Here you can show off how hardcore you are because you don't watch TV.

I'll go first!

I don't watch any TV except for some BBC World every other week or so.

I don't have money for TV right now.. (T-T) So I don't watch it.

But I do go to my friend's house to watch South Park and Aqua Teen Hunger Force!

Teevees are great for console games!

...

Well, actually no. Resolution is crap. But there's no other choice.

I honestly think TVs are a complete waste of time.

When I had a TV there was never anything good on. I'd sit down, hoping for something decent, and start mindlessly flipping channels. What a waste.

This board is not just talking about that big box that sits in many loungerooms across the world, more what's on it.

Stop screwing my boards please :(

It's hardware antialiasing!

Well, I prefer to play emulated Zelda in 1024x768 aliased than 640x480 antialiased and interlaced - much more detailed.
Plus my TV is an ooooooooold Sony that has a low refresh rate. On my PC I never go under 85Hz.
Plus, with the emulator I can save any time.
But one thing is good with TVees is that you can see what's in the shadows. Anime that have very dark scenes alternating with bright scenes can be viewed on a tv without having to fiddle with the brighness controls. Tho, it may be because I have a cheap PC monitor.
OTOH again, my anime isn't crushed to a 640x480 rez on a monitor like on TV.

I watch TV every two weeks, for one hour. Usually it's Family Guy.

Other than that... I don't need Western-World propaganda thrown in my face.

10 Name: Sling!myL1/SLing 2004-11-23 03:30 ID:7ZDHOScg [Del]

I watch my TV every day... and one day, I'll even turn it on.

Gotta buy TV mags, man. I rarely watch TV but I always find something really neat that I wouldn't even have found on the damn internet if I tried every other day.

It's just a medium, don't hate it just because you grew more accustomed to the internet in the long run.

I only watch Futurama at midnight. That's it. I couldn't be bothered to watch The War Network (CNN) or any of those evil media sources owned by Christians!

no tv since birth. my parents never had the money for one and when I moved out I never saw the point in owning one. whenever I'm in a place with a TV, I'm mostly puzzled at how this thing entertains so many people. The ads on turkish tv are sometimes pretty radical (==headfuck), though.

I don't have a TV, and I like that. Every show I want to watch I can get on the internet, and when I feel like lowering my IQ a couple points I can go to the laundromat, where they play MTV all day.

no money for TV cable, since I never, EVER use it. I play a lot of video games on it, though! Cable internet is a must as well.
