No. It stands for Cipher Pol Number 9. It's basically a CIA-type thingy in the One Piece universe. They're pretty neat.

4Kids is all right, though a lot of their voice actors stink. I'm waiting until they get to Water Seven (or at least until Skypiea or the final Luffy vs. Crocodile battle with the blood) to see if I should really hate them or not. When they get to the Nico Robin flashback (and Toei Animation probably hasn't even animated that yet), they'll definitely mess it up. I know they will, and that'll be the day everyone truly hates 4Kids.
good thing I always stick with the original Japanese dubbing. I hate the American dubbing...but somehow I always prefer it for shows like G1 Transformers or Voltron. :P
Episode 270, the "Luffy vs. Blueno" episode, only ocntains about three minutes or so of Luffy vs. Blueno. Why did Toei animation name it that, then, if Usopp / Sogeking and the giants took up most of the episode? Why do you tihnk?

watched 271 on my PSP on the way out to work this morning. WOW, that last scene with Chopper was well done! How his voice reverberated and all, props to Tony Tony! :)

Man, was awesome!! Although, a bit much fanservice through Nami at the start.
But the hilarious moments were all over and the fights were awesome!
Definitely different from Omatsuri danshaku...which I found entertaining, but a bit dark at times for One Piece.

Yeah, I was wondering what happened to Gerusama too. I am OK with the standard that ADC-Elite has gone up to, but every so often (especially since I understand Japanese) they get it SOO wrong.

KF is about two eps per week when you're lucky... I think that's not too bad. But yeah, at that rate it will still take about 30 weeks to even reach where gerusama left out and that's too slow...

They're pretty good. Everyone hated them at first, supposedly for using things like "WTF?" every other line and calling Iceburg "Ice Barg" ( http://img180.imageshack.us/img180/7999/vlcsnap1890538gz.png ) and stuff like that. Then they all of a sudden turned really good.

4Kids wanted Usopp to be just a guy with a long nose and silly voice who has no manliness when he's SUPER MANLY in the original, for Nami to be less developed (apparently), for Sanji to be a mafia goon (though I actually kind of like his dub voice), and for Zoro to have a stupid name (Zolo). :-P

I would go for the former...least that way, you can find subs and you can understand the episode!

There is a Golden Rule in One Piece concerning death: A character can only die in a flashback, ergo the only characters that are dead in One Piece were dead before the series started. To my knowledge this rule still holds true. Oda says that death gives stories a "bad vibe."

Well someone should tell that to the current animators. I find this recap of Captain D. Roger's death at the beginning of every episode very distasteful, and I'm not even Japanese (that weird execution method by two spears at the same time is Japanese, I believe).

I'd totalleh watch an episode where Brooke gets killed. Unfortunately, his Devil Fruit designates that he can't possibly be killed, which sucks. I tihnk someone should take his bones and put 'em lal on different parts of the world in One Piece. One of his limbs in each of the Blues, his skull in the White White Sea, and put some of his dry bones in Alabasta, buried deep underneath the surface of ze sand.
