A while ago I was reading To Shoot an Elephant by George Orwell, and one of the obvious things was that he was pressured by the Burmians to shoot the elephant. But since they weren't really his peers nor superiors (or were they?) I was wondering what a word would be to describe that kind of pressure. My only thought was "subpeer pressure".
group pressure?
pushin down on me? pushin down on you?
no man can follow
It's "Burmese". People from Burma (today's Myanmar, apparently) in a "they" group.
Isn't the word TANASINN?
"politics"
If it was me I would just have put it like you did, he was pressured by the Burmese.
