Started reading it at the recommendation of my 8th grade principal. Never finished, due to school trouble keeping me from my reading.

Just picked up a hardcover copy at a local used bookstore for 6 bucks.

Any recommendations for books of the same ilk (By Chaim Potok, or not.) for after I finish this one? Religious adolescent, conflicts between faith and everyday life, sorta deal. (I'm an Abrahamaic Monotheist, but not a religious Jew, Christian, or Muslim.)

Oh my. I read that book for Literature.
It was most frustrating text I've ever had to do.
