The Castle, Kafka (2)

Has anybody read this book? What the fuck is up with this book? Why is it so infuriating? Not since "The Unconsoled" (similar dream-logic sequence of events, inexplicable hookup between main character and female) have I been so irritated on behalf of a character.

I couldn't finish the story-- and neither could the author.
