ITT: Read the book the person above you recommends, and post your suggestion.
I'll start:
The Little Prince, by Antoine de Saint Exupery
goddamn is no one in a fun mood?
fine, reading the other person's book is OPTIONAL.
just post some faves...
Sadly I'm not presumptuous enough to assume that other people will like the same sort of books I do...
(Already read "The Little Prince," btw, my English teacher gave it to me as a gift)
eh, that's true.
my bad.
If you haven't read Moby Dick yet, do so immediately.
Read moby dick back in my American Lit class in college.
check out: Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin. It's good high-fantasy, that fills the void for Lord of The Rings fans.
Battle Royale, Chain Mail, Out + Grotesque, Vampire Hunter D series.
>>7
Doing it wrong. You're supposed to post ONE book.
>>8
I don't sense any harm in suggesting multiple books.
THREAD INTRERUPTION
>>9
Well if you suggest 5 books and someone wanted to suggest one of those books, it sucks for him. I could post the whole library collection and end this thread, but what's the point of that right?
CONTiNUE
I'll check out the books listed, though I'm not guaranteeing that I'll read them.
Anywho, my recommendation is a classic by Jules Verne:
Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea
Read it already, and listened to the audiobook a gazillion times when I was a kid.
Foundation, by Issac Asimov.
Starship Troopers by Robert A. Heinlein
Try with A Clockwork Orange (Anthony Burgess), or try something more unconventional and read The Zombie Survival Guide
