For my GCSE English Exam, I have to write a 40 minute short story, which I'm supposed to plan. I had the idea of writing a story about writing the story, as in "I find the first sentence is always the hardest. I want something interesting, and something that pulls the reader in, but that's harder than it sounds. Especially when the pressure of a forty minute time limit and the prospect of passing or failing my GCSE is there. I reckon that will suffice for the introduction, but now I need a problem, something that builds up the tension. My mind goes black, and the harder I try to think of something, the harder it becomes to do it. Everybody around me is furiously scribbling on their papers, whilst I sit here, staring at my near blank sheet."
I know the tense is completely messed up there, and I'm gonna work alot on the actually writing, but as for the concept, would it work or not?
