I love that my LCD fits on my desk, as opposed to pretty much every CRT since 2000 or so.

Anyway, since we're talking LCDs, that also means you don't really want your game to run at a non-native resolution. Scaling to a fixed resolution is iffy, and you might be better of running in a window and using 2x2 or 3x3 pixels. Which means you get problems syncing to the referesh rate, again.
