I didn't think "I am learning C++, so I should learn recursion" it was more like "I am taking a class on C++ and they want me to do recursive functions but I am so shitty at them. I wounder if there is anything I can do to improve that".

Thank you for your help. I looked into it more and I got a better understanding of it and was able to write better recursion code.
