Geez Squeeks, just take the damn site down if it's such a burden on you. That would open the door for an alternative to pop up. But no! Instead, you're going to keep posting whiny drama trying to scare your users into running the site for you. There's just one problem with that... have you ever thought that your users might have lives too?
I didn't vote in your little election, and neither did most of the users who contribute anything worthwhile. Only a loser with no life would vote in a mod election for a stupid board website, and only a bigger loser would run. I could've told you from the start that a charade like that would be a failure, and oh, wait, I did, only to have one of your modding sweethearts mock me for posting anonymously. Think people like that are gonna save your site? At best you'll get a black hole of others of the same ilk, pimply 20 year olds who want to show off the size of their Internet balls. But more likely, you won't get jack shit, because if these people were anything less than completely useless they wouldn't have so much time on their greasy hands in the first place.
As far as I'm concerned, 4-ch is a dozen Kareha installs and some inertia. You don't bring anything special to the table. Anyone who feels like it can literally clone 4-ch in under an hour. You're nothing but an attention-whore, and you can take your "three weeks" announcement and shove it up your ass.

Mod elections must've been a while ago, because before this I never heard of them.
We should preserve 4-ch because it's a community. Just like when 4chan dies, we lose something we enjoyed.
Shii, if anything, you should be prepared with contingency plans for this sort of thing. If you are having a problem with the mods, then that's hardly our fault, as the buck stops with you. If I actually had anything to offer I would volunteer to mod, but other than being able to do footwork I have nothing.
