Often pedophilia is a symptom of arrested development resulting from trauma or abuse.
Children who are molested almost always develop irrational fear or hatred after the experience, often for the rest of their lives. This fear and hatred causes the person to make counterproductive choices in general.
It is not worth putiing a child into a personal hell for the sake of "sexual expression"
