Well, their point is that not every participant in childporn in specific and sexual adult-child relations in general is a victim per sé... (including the prepuberal participants)

Indeed, the definition of 'victim' is quite stretchable, and for young children a bit dubious since there is a lasting power difference between them and their chaperone. In other words, if a child and an adult both enjoy a sexual act, there is room for debate on whether the child is a victim.

Whereas common opinion holds that pedophilia traumatizes children for the rest of their lives, even that could perhaps be contested. It is argued, for example, that trauma occurs only because society reacts so uptight to it.

This is a very controversial topic. It would be better if it were removed elsewhere, anywhere but DQN, because of that.
