Do you say:
o Wee-AH-boo, or
o Wee-uh-boo
There's barely any difference between the two pronounciations.
Wee-uh
There isn't a difference; those syllables are both represented by a schwa.
I don't say shit like that out loud.
Dee-kyuu-en.
It annoys me that there are Americans who replace every vowel with a schwa. It leads to sloppy spelling (than->then Emperor->Emporer, etc.). Sloppily spelled sentences are like mittens with holes.
Yes, English should be like Japanese, where there are NO ambiguous pronunciations.
( ゚ -゚) ..Mittens with holes..My fingers grow slightly chilled..and yet I can still feel some warmth. Will life ever be the same as it was before? Before the yarn unraveled and the holes appeared?
( ゚ -゚) ...
( ゚ -゚) Yeah, I'm gonna go to the Unhappy things thread now..
