I accept full responsibility for getting into the ring and being beaten up, since it was my choice and I obviously knew there was no way I could beat a man with 10+ years of boxing experience, a man who runs 13 miles a day and trained extra hard for the last half year JUST TO BEAT UP ON WEBMASTERS WITH NO BOXING EXPERIENCE (I found all this out the day of the fight, by the way).
But honestly, the dude was a dick about the entire thing and instead of keeping it as a fun, lighthearted, goofy PR stunt, he honestly went at everybody like a big jerk. I don't really give a shit; I bowed out before I could truly get my shit kicked like the two dudes after me, one of whom spent an hour vomiting nonstop and had to be hooked up to an oxygen machine, and then other dude who had blood all over his face.
Sure I agreed to box and I have no regrets about it. I just think that maybe, just MAYBE, there was a TEENY TINY bit of lying and deception on Uwe Boll's end. You know, how he said he'd get us some trainers who would teach us how to box. And he didn't. Or how he said he'd give us some time to spar with a real boxer. And he didn't. Or how he said it was just a PR event and he'd go easy because it was just "for fun." And he didn't. Or how he said he'd get protective cups and boxing gear for the boxers. And he didn't.
Who cares though, it's over with and (besides getting hit in the head) I had fun while learning a crucial fact: the people from the Internet who hate Uwe Boll are completely, 100% justified, because he's a douchebag.
