A cluster of computers meant to handle requests from thousands of databases, brought down by a single database accessed by a bunch of DQNs.

You see, Wikichan is a great project of mine, but I totally raped my webhosts SQL servers. I wamt to bring the wiki back up, DQN is what brought life to WikiChan, and for the time being has caused it's death. Soon, I will switch to dedicated hosting, but I'll need to get donations (once I set up a paypal account) and will hopefully get enough to run Wikichan for at least a year. I will post a paypal donation link AT ETHERCHAN.ORG so don't donate to anything other than what you'll find there.
I have full control over the wiki, so I will reopen it occasionally when I am feeling bored because that wiki is a great way to kill time.
Actually, Wikichan was using over 45% of the IX SQL server's processing power. I got my accont suspended due to server overload. On the phone they informed me that the wiki database was the most active database hosted on their servers.
You see, ordinary people do access my site, but that only accounts for a few people. This month, the running total for unique visitors is 61,879. This, obviously, is fucking insane.
Since its creation in April, I have exchanged 175,965,583,000 Bytes of copypasta, spam, and bullshit across the intarweb through a total of 10,598,440 individual data requests. The wiki was, at last count, at around 1,125,000 pageviews.
The wiki tallys pageviews by writing to the SQL tables. Actually, since the creation of the wiki, that database was queried over 100 million times...
Needless to say, on shared server space, this won't do.
I plan to, for the time being, set up something else that probably runs on PHP or Perl that we can rape and vandalize our hearts away on. DQN, I need suggestions. Kareha is an idea, but I need something stupid to rape. What can we do that will make etherchan fun while the wiki is down?
