Pianist busted for child prostitution

A pianist has been arrested for paying a teenage girl to have sex with him in Tokyo, police said Wednesday.

Tatsuya Harada, 32, a resident of Fujimino, Saitama Prefecture, is accused of violating the anti-child prostitution law. He admitted to the allegations during questioning, investigators said.

Harada handed 20,000 yen to the 17-year-old unemployed girl in a restroom of a park in Toshima-ku, Tokyo, in October 2005 in return for having sex, local police said. They had got acquainted with each other through an online matchmaking site. (Mainichi)

What do you mean fake? Cases like these used to be handled by the normal anti-prostitution law but recently they introduced a new law specifically aimed at coming to grips with underage prostitution. A 17-year old is still a child in the eyes of the law.
