Bubble Bobble is the best game ever made.
Frozen Bubble is a neat clone, too.

I wish I was a cute lizard.
Bust-a-move
Bubble Bobble 2 for the NES/Famicom is extremely rare. The graphics are superior to the old bubble bobble, but the theme song isn't even 1/2 as good as the old one.

Simple solution, get two famicoms.
Start Bubble Bobble on one, connect audio to speakers.
Start Bubble Bobble 2 on the other, connect video to television.
Or you could download the ROM for the first and second, and download an NES/Famicom emulator that supports multiple instances of use simultaneously. Enable gamepad use on the one with Bubble Bobble 2 and disable action on The emulator playing Bubble Bobble.
earing the $$ to buy two famicoms, a common game, and an extremely rare one= much greater effort.
Or you could just download the ost to the first one and play it while you play the second one with the sound off.
