BOOOOOOOON! Comes Out of the Closet

The sexual preference of ⊂二二二（ ＾ω＾）二二二⊃, having the largest wingspan of several Shift_JIS characters, on the Elitist Superstructure website that is hosted on the 4-ch forums in god knows where, has been the subject of debate since the opening of the Booooon thread last September.

The character, whose face is obviously that of a boy, has been found expressing large, circumflex accents in many threads and has become a favorite character among anti-individualists worldwide.

Now, further evidence that the creators of the character intend for BU~N to be a gay role model have surfaced. He is joyful -- the "gay" synonym; and his arms are extended as if to hug -- an activity which only gay men would share in.

Furthering ⊂二二二（ ＾ω＾）二二二⊃’s “outing” was a recent DQN event that cast the character’s use as a one-for-all moniker aside for that of Junior in an overly VIP-Quality thread. This implies that BU~N is “outed” as the chief Four-Channel gay representative, while Junior is the trendy “in” nome-de-plume.

These subtle depictions are no doubt intentional and parents are warned to be alert to these elements of the series. However, many families are allowing the series to entertain their aspies. In the September 5133rd “Hit List” of the top-ten most-age'd threads, two BU~N titles appeared on the list. The Squeeks will release the exiled ⊂二二二（ ＾ω＾）二二二⊃ in October.
