[Dress-Up] Holiday Party Outfits [Advice] (3)

Hey /fashion/,

You're probably well aware that a lot of people around this time of year host gatherings the holidays. I have a few Christmas parties to go to, but I'm lost as to what to wear. Most of them are casual family or friends parties, but I'd still like to look nice and put-together. I'd be very grateful if you could help me out!
Some details: I'm a girl, very short (about five feet even.) I usually just wear jeans and teeshirts, but I'm willing to wear different types of skirts/dresses/tops for parties.

A simple black dress, it's classic. A black dress in any style that looks good on you. The key is to jazz it up with some cute shoes, nice necklace or other accessories. It doesn't have to cost a lot and it is an outfit that never goes out of fashion that can be worn over and over to nearly any occasion.
