Hello, i'm 18 years old and due to excessive use of the internet i found that i got 3 jeans, about 4 jumpers (the kind you should wear on techno actions) and lots of t-shirts.
I find this rather boring to wear all the time, but i didn't bother about it to be honest.
What i'm looking for are some clothing tips for what's looking good, combinations of clothes etc.

to fit for location : europe (central), average wealth (globally, not for the region)

Look at what the teens or young men around you wear, and take ideas from that.
Be aware that what looks good on you might not be the same as what looks good on others, and vice-versa.

> average wealth (globally, not for the region)

Globally, if you have indoor plumbing, you're rich.

ok, let's limit the world to western countries then.

about looking at other teens, the major problem is, that nearly everyone is somehow related to scene, by what i mean on every other step you bump into some sadly looking fellow with black make-up around his eyes taking the sorrow of whole world on his shoulders......

but from what i have observed i'll go try some combo of jeans / shirt / sweater (thin)
got any ideas for brands i should check out? (excluding the luxury brands such as lacoste, although i have no problems paying additional for quality clothes, i'm just not the type of person to show off with what he bought in store)

my current wardrobe is something like, dress shirts from thrift shops with a sweater over, spend some money on 2-3 pairs of NICE jeans (100-200, get some indie brands or some nice japanese denim like Evisu) and some fun sneakers

its a clean look that is fun and easy to mix and match

i got a bunch of sweaters from active in CA that are pretty dope

I'm 15 and Ihate dressing like what the other kids are wearing, though I spend most of my time on the internet so I only go out to shop, attend school or the community college.

Now my regular school doesn't give me the option of wearing what I want so I don't have to worry about that, as for the other two places I usually wear dress shirts, (black or blue) jeans and white sneakers.

I'm a typical internet geek but when I wear those I've found that quite a few older women (In their 20s) have hit on me, especially on my way to the community college.

Wearing nice clean clothes has made me look a whole lot better, rather than wearing what the emo-kids around here are wearing.

I suggest having a look at the above links, they're pretty sexy.

If you can pull it off, (especially if you're tall), thick scarves are so hot on guys. Not enough wear them seriously. They can also be taken off to be placed around the necks of the fairer sex (who often under-dress in winter) ;P.

plain good fitting white t-shirt, with a nice quality plain black cardigan done up over it, worn with slimmer fit trousers/jeans. Shoes, I would suggest a pair of slip-on vans, possibly in a more vibrant colour if everything else is plain. If you are wearing brighter colours then stick to plain shoes. If you are in shape/skinny then this should look good. It may be a little too subdued for an 18 year old, but you can always add stuff to it with accessories like belts or badges etc. This look is kinda doing alright here in the UK (London area), its a bit geeky-rock but without being emo or whatever. It should transfer to central Europe quite well, because its a classic look.

Don't think I have much of a say in teen's fashion, but I personally find most versatile and cost saving a good pair of leather shoes (not the kind your dad used to wear), straight-cut jeans and fitted shirt coupled with jackets and random accessories (tie, a good watch, chains - heck whatever tickles your fancy).
