Ah..! I'm searching for a cheap lolita outfits in the net..but I can't find one! I don't if it's bargain...as long as its cheap..
No idea madam, have you considered making a outfit? It could be a cool side hobby.
lol "cheap gothic lolita"
I don't think there's such thing as 'cheap gothic lolita outfits'
Unless you really want something crappy and wont look good one you >.>
If you want something half decent and a pretty decent price, ebay.com is probably your best bet.
Some of the Lolita dress sellers on there make pretty good dresses and the price is pretty good, if you're not looking for name brand stuff that is.
Ebay, definitely.
Of course, the fabric is pretty cheap (especially compared to real brands), but they don't look terrible and you can get them for extremely cheap.
Why do you even bother dressing up as a gothic lolita if you want to find something cheap and crappy? if your going to dress up like one you might as well go all the way and not worry about the cost unless of course your just doing it because all your friends are dressing up like one then it's okay to dress "cheap"
well the bottom line is that nothing beats self-made works.U can design it and go to some boutique or any other place that can accept those and let them do all the work (but how much it cost, depends on how you choose the materials and the way u design the cloth).
Btw, good luck for the costume hunting! ^^
Hey doesn't being a "cheap gothic lolita" defeat the purpose of most lolitas? Of course alot make their own but buy cheap? Never heard tha one.
that officially makes you a wannabe
All the gothic loli stores around where I live (and there are many) are, once you consider the exchange rate, very cheap. So they do exist but I doubt you'll find anything cheap on the English internet.
almost all lolitas makes their own clothes
here is a site I picked up some time ago.
https://www.lolita-kisama.com/
don't know if this'll help though. but it's nice to look at.
They have a lot of cheap stuff on ebay but if you want to do lolita properly you can't do it cheap. Cheap lolita style stuff just looks tacky.
I've been there too, it has awesome stuff. It's not cheep, but it isn't necessarily expensive either.
Don't even bother with the lolita style if you don't play to pay good money for it. People like that are laughed at in the lolita community.
The spirit of rococó, it's to dress rightly, with quality.
Cheap stuff will make you see as a random weabo cosplay bitch without any commitment with the idealism of Rococó.
Real gothic lolitas will not hit on you.
Go and dress with your narutard suit, onegaishimasu.
If you're willing to spend a lot of time looking through thrift stores for gothic lolita-esque clothing, I think that it is definitely possible to dress gothloli and wear it well on a small budget. It's not easy, though.
Today I had to sit through a presentation on gothic lolita by a classmate in my anthropology class. He clearly knew very little about gothloli and had zero respect for it. Grrr.
this thread is probably long dead but i wanted to say for aspiring lolitas out there.
There are some ways to be lolita without forking over hundreds for one top brand dress.
It's a livejournal community for lolitas to sell or search for clothes/accessories. Some times you can get a pretty good deal on used things as long as you don't mind that it was used and that the design might not be of the latest design.
>Commission someone to make you clothing
There are some better known indie brands like In the Starlight or Candy Violet but there are so a lot of other lolita seamstresses out there! It might help you to join the EGL community on live journal to help you find them.
>Bodyline
Bodyline makes relatively cheap lolita clothing (especially when they are having a sale. The last sale they had they had some of their popular skirts for only $11 USD) Shipping might be the deal breaker but you can try joining a group order (http://community.livejournal.com/egl_group_order/) to save on shipping.
>Chinese Brands
Anna House (www.annahousefashion.com) makes pretty good stuff especially for a beginner loli. The only thing is their stuff is not lined. But they are very well priced for their quality (pricing is in HKD not USD) Again shipping may be expensive so group orders might be helpful. There are many other Chinese brands such as Dear Celine, Kids Yoyo, Surface Spell, and may others listed in TaoBao that are a lot cheaper than Japanese brands. Of course be careful when decided who to buy from. Do not buy from someone who uses stock photos belonging to another brand. You might have to use a shopping service for some of these stores. (not Anna House)
Most important is research, research, RESEARCH. Join a community. Yes, there are some mean people in them but on the whole they are willing to help.
Good luck in your lolita journey!
Ew lolita-kisama is a big no-no
