I was thinking about getting one [or two] but I wanted to know the pros and cons of getting one. Like could I had it from parental eyes and impressional adults? Is it possible to gauge your lips?

Any input would be helpful thanks.

Pros: You look edgier and some edgy people might want to get with you.

Cons: You look uglier and pretty much everyone else will laugh at you behind your back. And if you're not willing to show it to everyone (including parental eyes, etc), why bother?

Personally, I think lip piercings look hot on chicks. Potential employers usually don't like that shit, though.

How do you intend to hide a lip piercing? With a band-aid?

Lip piercings are god-awful, do not get any. Please.
