It's a tropical cocktail. The basic ingredients are rum, pineapples and/or pineapple juice, and coconut milk or cream.
There's a lot of variations, but here's a couple of basic ones.

* 1 cup coconut milk
* 1 cup pineapple juice
* 1/2 cup rum
* 4 tablespoons white sugar
* 8 cubes ice

1. In a blender, combine coconut milk, pineapple juice, rum, sugar and ice. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses, and serve immediately.

  • 2 oz Light Rum
  • 5 oz Pineapple Juice
  • 2 oz Coconut Cream
  • 1 cup Crushed Ice
  • Garnish: Cherry, Pineapple
  • Glassware: Cocktail Glass

Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend at high speed. Pour into a collins glass and garnish with fruits.

1 1/2 cup ice
1/2 cup diced pineapple, frozen
2 ounces pineapple juice
2 ounces Coco Lopez coconut cream
1 1/2 ounces white rum
1 ounce dark rum
Pineapple slices

Put the ice, frozen pineapple, juice, coconut cream, and the white and dark rums into a blender. Blend until smooth and frosty. Pour the drink into 2 glasses and garnish the rim with pineapple slices.

Let us know if you try it!

Ok. I've checked my local super market. It's so damn expensive to make pinacloada ><... 100ml of coconut milk costs 2USD. Pineaple juice - nowhere to be found. Only canned or fresh pineaples. Rum is easy to get and the price depends on the brand. Anyway, to make 1 cup of pinacolada I would have to spend about 10USD ><. How much does it cost in US?

I don't live in the US, but this online store http://www.netgrocer.com/ has 400ml coconut milk for $1.55USD and 1.3L of pineapple juice for $2.55. You could probably get away with using the syrup of canned pineapples, maybe mixed with apple juice?
