Monday is my 2-year anniversary with my girlfriend, and we're cooking tilapia. I was wondering if anybody could suggest a good (but cheap, for I blew all my money on her present!) white wine that would compleiment the fish.
I know next to nothing about wine, so I'm counting on you guys!
md20/20 grape
cisco red

just get a cheap pinot grigio, and have it chilled
Thanks, all!
Virtually any wine between $12-$15 will be drinkable. Anything cheaper and you're risking drinking crap. Anything Romanian and you will be disappointed.
Any dry-ish white will do, the pinot grigio suggestion is a good one. I like Alsatian pinot grigios, myself.
Oh, yeah, and they're usually pinots gris in Alsace, but not always, and it's the same grape.
