what kinds of food do you usually eat on Christmas?

for me it would definitely be potato salad / fish for xmas eve, and then duck on 26th

I just got back from annual Christmas dinner at my parent's house, they always serve some kind of a roast, potatoes, salad, bread, etc, and pasta (lolz Italians).

Ham, salads, bread, sometimes seafood (lobster or prawns, if we go that way.)

We don't usually do a roast, as the heat of a roast in summer isn't so pleasant. But once a few years back we cooked a roast and then cooled it down, and that worked fairly well.
