In this thread, we talk about tea. We talk about what we drink. What tea goes good with. What we mix with tea. Etcetera. Forever. Let it begin.
I like iced tea.
Tie Guan Yin tastes good, the flavour is very rich.
Any white tea you'd recomend ?
Silver Needle is my favorite. I'm no tea connoisseur, but I believe it is white tea. Has a subtle flavor that is both delicious and not overpowering. I'd suggest others to try it too.

Whenever you see something that basically just says "Iced Tea" it's actually Black Tea.
tell me more about loose puerh
i feel like most every website i have ever tried to order tea from has been mostly marketing. real life is the same. it makes me sad. i just want to know what kind of tea it is and where it's grown. if they can't tell me that, or if they're not selling it loose, i'm won't but it.
i like jasmine green tea. white tea is fine, but i burnt out on what i've got. both make really good iced tea, usually. i like to keep a pitcher in the fridge most of the time.
i love jasmine pearl tea, i love to eat the leaves too
Lapsang souchong's pretty good, if you're into the whole smoky smell.
TEA! Teateatea. I just love drinks in general, but tea is my favorite.
Wuxi Oolongs! I'm trying to get my hands on some Da Hong Pao, I have some Tie Luohan but I'm trying to ration it because it's 2fresh2furious.
I really like the variations in sweetness and the potential for powerful savory tastes in Oolongs. Iron Goddess is a great place to start if you're looking for the weird suspension between flowery lightness and hearty fullness to the liquor, and there's so much room to explore.
Also so many re-steeps and better with every steep. You can sit with a liter of water in a thermos and steep until your bladder gives way then heat up more water and then keep going.

I wouldn't really advise loose Pu-er. Messes with the fermentation and stuff and dries out way too quick, go for cakes.
I've pretty much disliked all teas except sweet tea, but recently I've been drinking lots of mugicha, like 2+ liters a day. Very soothing.
I just found out that I like Lady Grey more than Earl Grey. It's smoother than Earl Grey. I've been drinking the wrong tea all these years.
My favorite is gen mai cha, its such a cozy drink on a cold rainy day.
Avoid the fuck out of Prince of Peace brand. Worst tea I've ever tasted.
Organically grown in China... yeah, probably right next to an industrial facility.
How do I become a tea expert? I've started to drink tea regularly but, having no idea what I'm doing, I just get boxes from your average supermarket. All I've learned so far is I don't enjoy fruity teas.

Ideally, you want to start with something mild and try to work your way to darker and bolder teas. Try white and green teas, first then move onto something like Lapsang Souchong and Irish Breakfast blends.
After waking up I like to have a cup of Tetley with plain soymilk and no sugar.
