I am always looking for some ideas about what to play next and threads like this are cool ^^
so, yesterday:
→ Sengoku Blade (PS2 iirc)
→ Rez (PS2)
and today:
→ Super R-Type (SNES)
→ Soukyu Gurentai (SAT)
so many shmups <3
Played Today : Highlight
WoW : Fell and died for 1040 damage.
Chronicles of Reidick : I need a new sound card.
Wizardry PS2 : I NEED to find the OST.
Im a big GTA person. Even though San Andreas is out and all, I'm back playing Vice City, trying to at least finish every part of the game.
GTA SA's flight school missions pissed me off so much, I didn't play it for a month. I had nothing to do this morning while transfering stuff from zip, so tried it out again and completed that annoying circling mission in my first try. Got a silver too.
orz
I'm still somewhat casually playing through Metroid Prime 2. So today it was getting the power bomb.
Having fun with System Shock 2.
Still gives me the creeps.
i am back to Ragnarok Online. Got F-Zero X but somehow i dont get the N64 to work >.<
I just picked up Mechassault II the other day. I really like it, especially the new Battlearmors. Taking down a fully loaded Ragnarok with an awsome pilot with just a series of well timed button presses is soooo fulfilling. Also, the ability to drive into an enenmy base with a cloaked tank, steal their glag, and have a VTOL pick me up and carry me out is fun.
Tried Subspace Continuum today (free to boot). Fun, but damn the controls are hard to get right.
→ Torus Trooper (what else :o)
Rose Online - http://www.roseon.com (Its made by the same people who made Ragnarok Online)
> (Its made by the same people who made Ragnarok Online)
That's not a good thing, you realize.
Kagero: Deception2
Ahhh, all the killing and torture... *____*
>>14, well there are many fans of Ragnarok Online. Gravity is for sure not my favorite Game Maker, but RO is great :3
also:
→ Layer Section (SEGASATURN)
There are many fans of Ragnarok Online because Gravity's atrocious security led to private servers up the wazoo, and something free has infinite value, no matter how much it blows. Sad, isn't it?
i play on an official server >.<! pServers suck :p
Not all private servers suck. But I have a real bone to pick with Gravity. The RO client has numerous problems that need to be fixed (but never will I bet). Among them:
And others I can't think of right now. Some of this is trivial to fix, and yet never has been.
The gameplay itself varies from good to bad, depending on whether you're playing with a good group or not. It's a definite treadmill though.
>Walls should become semi-transparent if you're behind one.
It's been a while since I last played it, but I recall RO implementing something like that. I think the 'Opaque' option has something to do with it...
>It should be impossible to cover your health bar (ie, when being mobbed).
Sometimes i want to cover it, for example when taking nice screenies
>There should be a better form of texture precaching (ie, lag spikes when you see a new sprite).
I have zero lags 99,9% of the time and i have a very bad pc...
i agree to the other things..
and the only reason pServers are good for is for testing builds :p
i found Transport Tycoon again sitting on my HDD
snakes on n-gage
hearts of iron 2.
it's kicking my ass. I'm even worse at warfare than il Duce.
oh and that Darwinia demo. it's quite good.
Feel the Magic XY/XX
Rub it! ^_~
Counter-Strike: Source
Xenosaga 2
Intercepting Phone-Home Autodailer To Make Sure Father Doesn't Know I Was Skipping Class.
PENNY RACERS
THE PS2 ONE
ALSO KNOWN AS CHORO Q HG AND GADGET RACERS
BUT NOT THE PS2 GAME KNOWN IN EUROPE AS "GADGET RACERS", THAT IS CHORO Q HG3
okay I'm tired and am not explaining renaming situations. Point is, I bought it on Friday, and it kicks arse, much like every Choro Q game.
In a couple of hours I'm going to be re-playing Grim Fandango like hell!
I played the full version of Darwinia. It's very entertaining and its aesthetics appeal to me.
I played Grim Fandango like hell, and finished year 1. It is still utterly awesome.
I have been redoing the Diablo II single player. Necromancer first.
I played Act of War. It is very "C&C generals plus weapons called MJÖLNIR SUPER HEAVY HOWITZER". It has absurdity worthy of a strong and fine cancer. It has a storyline that goes "Russian islam tourists of bissgefähr->:E-decal-on-hind might are fueled by U.S. oil barrels from the sky; then the other U.S. invade britain and stage lake bodom in buckingham palace; talon force of black helicopters comes and tramples all, including self: THE END". That is all.
yesterday i finally played Dan! Da! Dan!
It is a free windows shmup, you can download it here: http://nagoya.cool.ne.jp/o_mega/product/ddd.html
I "played" (?) t-72, a russian-made tank simulation game about the war in Serbia. It sucks, but it's pro-serb. Much like the real serbian army - in that respect it's very realistic. Furtherly, it is seriously stuck in 1992. ALSO VERY REALISTIC. GOOD SIMULATION!
