guys, if you want freeware games from the beginning of time, go here to the-underdogs. seriously awesome, it's got screenshots, descriptions/reviews, and simmilar games for EVERY TITLE. games are devided into innumerable categories, from anime to simulation, and then RE-DEVIDED after that into specific subgroups. i've learned a lot from this site.

While I'm at it, though, check out Dwarf Fortress. small, freeware, and incredibly dense with gameplay. I wish i could describe it well, but basically it's like a roguelike, but twisted with a HUGE world map, random of course, where you also have the option of bossing around a set of dwarves into making a giant fortress, which eventually can become a giant, self sustaining city inside a mountain, filled with dwarves. i highly urge you to look into it. it's making waves.
