I bought PS / DC / DS at the lauch day and they work perfectly until today. Thats not normal!

It's plenty normal. I had four friends that bought a PS2 and all of them had problems with it. Just because you got lucky doesn't say anything about the hardware in general.

They don't make them like they used to! I have a Turbo DUO that's stll running like a champ.
