I want to run a BESM d20 campaign and find people in my area who might be interested in playing. Are there any websites where I can post this and find anyone in the area?

There must be, but I'm not too well versed in the pen and paper RPG hangouts on the net. The most effective option is probably to find a local (non video)game or comic book store and ask around. Some have bulletin boards where groups post flyers.
