On the subject of Subsistence, how does one strafe and move backwards while firing? I've seen people do this and really need to know how myself in order to not die as much.

I don't have the server up 24/7, but I will have it on most of the day. Because you can't join it after selecting Host Only, whenever I want to play I have to kill the server :/

I found out how to strafe and back up; while you're targeting an enemy in third person, hold L1 and you'll be able to circle around them and track their movement. It's effective when you don't have time to crouch/first-person aim.
i'm going to pick this bastard up on its european release, for damn sure.
also, how's the transration on the msx games? still into "I FEEL ASLEEP" territory?
I haven't played them through yet... I think I'm over playing old 2d games for the most part... :(
