Greatest News Ever.
I've known this for... a while. Maybe I have insider Nippon Ichi connections without even realising it. When the PAL release for Disgaea 2 was announced, I'd already known for about a month.

This isn't the first announcement, just a notice of a delay in production. What got everyone attention with this was the intentional promotion of moe to a foreign audience.

"Insert it into my back."
"I got it. Here goes"
"Ouch! It's okay. Push it all they way..."
"It's okay, as long as it's you, I can take the pain."
o_O
:D
Lol!
That's such crap. I'd like to believe that the orignial Japanese was better, but I doubt it.
Why don't they just release the eroge finally? The good ones?

I'd give the voice actors the benefit of the doubt, with Japan's much wider talent pool. The dialogue is pretty standard for this type of dating sim element but it seems to also poke fun at itself. What I want to see is the marketing materials, to check if they really are highlighting moe as a selling point like they were in the initial announcements.

oh man! this is cool!
the first one: horrible horrible voice acting
I'd totally buy this if it were for the PC.

So the Japanese voices were horrible too?
Mega-bump because Ar Tonelico 3 is out!
My copy is somewhere over the Pacific, after all the issues AT2 had I don't trust NIS America to do a decent job of publishing this when they get around to announcing it in a year or two. I probably don't know Japanese well enough to grok everything, but I intend to try!
Boy, am I glad the PS3 has no region lock. (´・ω・)
