I finished Blue but only got halfway through Gold. I liked the new features like breeding, but it got too bothersome to have to keep going back and forth to check on them. This one has me interested in the series again. It seems to have streamlined a lot of the processes with the watch PDA. It also helps that I recently got a DS lite. :) Anyone want to post friend codes once the english version is out?

Abilities are explained in the Pokemon's stat screen, and Natures aren't too important unless you're into competitive play. They've both been around since Ruby/Sapphire. They probably explain Natures in the game, somewhere, too.
I've been meaning to get hold of a copy of Emerald that isn't a shitty bootleg with a broken clock before these come out in English. Can't say I've had much luck, though. The European version is still vastly overpriced, and ebay is obviously full of knockoffs.
Should I get Emerald while I wait for Diamond? I heard the ruby/shapphire generation was a downturn in the series after gold/silver.
