Just wondering... is anyone still buying one? And by "buying one" I mean "picking it up at launch"... not "waiting a year or two to see how the games pan out and if the price drops", which is what I'm doing. And, of course, being in Europe, when and if I do buy one I'm going to import it. Even if I have to fly to Japan and pick it up myself.

In all of the reports about early morning lineups for PS3 preorders, most or all of the people in each line were planning to sell theirs on ebay for fat profits. Even though in the last generation there were also such opportunists, I think at the time they were in the minority. What if all this speculation creates a bubble market where there are more scalpers than willing buyers?

PS3 wont have any blockbuster / awesome games @ the start anyway, and even if it had 1 or four it isn't enough.

Better to wait a year and get it cheaper and more games etc..
