I bought it on launch, knowing that I wouldn't be able to send it until Microsoft sends back my repaired 360. I am a loser, no need to inform me.
Discuss the game.
Awesome?
Overhyped?
Correction:
>knowing that I wouldn't be able to PLAY it
Everyone I know has it now it seems like, so I just sit and listen as they talk about it while I think of playing playing some VC games on my Wii.
I hear it is pretty good.
I guarantee it sucks.
Why? The first one had a bog-standard plot and lowered the bar for level design. I don't care to give the sequels a chance.
I've heard it's like Halo 2 with better graphics. And a different story.
(that means that it doesn't suck, but it's not something to get mega-uber-ultra hyped up about.)
>>4 I'm a Halo fan, and yes, I'll be the first one to say that the first one sucked.
However, Halo 2 was decent, and had great multiplayer. Now Halo 3 has made campaign excellent, and improved more on Multiplayer.
Halo didn't suck, it just had shitty level design. The campaign was twice as good as Halo 2's, and on par with Halo 3's (depending on who you ask).
Large structures are repetitive in nature - whether artificial or natural. I don't understand why people don't see that aspect of Halo.
Yeah. I mean, who isn't surprised when they look around their local city and find the Empire State Building just standing there. That's just normal!
Oh boy, another hallway. Maybe at the end of this one, there will be a room I haven't already fought through twenty times. Nope! Same room, same downs syndrome aliens.
I found this particular video review to be honest, very critical and mildly funny. (may contain spoilers)
