Super Mario Galaxy
I'm stuck in the past, sorry for typo (2008 for all of you who can't figure it out).
Super Mario Galaxy, although I'm not a huge gamer. I haven't played a proper FPS since Quake 2. But I did spring for a Wii this summer.
Halo 3. Then again, I haven't played Super Mario Galaxy yet.
I don't know why so many people like Mario Galaxy, I played and it felt like more of the same... and just too kiddy for me... maybe they like it just cause its mario? because of nostalgia? or because they are young gamers? i don't know, anyway...
I vote for Call of Duty 4 for GOTY
All the wacked-out gravity sets up a new standard in platform gaming, while everything else remains familiar.
though admittedly the Mario universe is a bit childish. I don't really care.
OP here, voting extended to the 6th because I think there needs to be a little more votes.
Bioshock
well, I recruited one extra vote. I'm so proud.

Anyway this cake is great. It's so delicious, and moist.
Super Mario Galaxy.
Extend voting to end one month later than the original date.
Super Mario Galaxy.
I enjoyed Contra 4 but I'd have to say that Super Mario Galaxy was a more enjoyable experience overall.
So my vote goes to Super Mario Galaxy.
Monster Hunter Freedom 2
