There's Shadow Mere; You have a castle and everyone in it. You can train, learn, scout, grow stuff, and fight other castles that you find.

Then there is Urban dead; Zombies have taken over and you can choose to be a zombie or human. You're in some town and you can choose to be all different kinds of people.
