Question about Xbox360 (8)

Hello, I just got my Xbox360! I was wondering if someone could answer a question of mine.
You know the giant AC Adapter? I was wondering if you ever have to unplug it, like, will it overheat or anything? Do you have to unplug it every once in a while or is it ok to always leave it plugged in? Thanks!

Usually I just leave mine plugged in 24/7 and don't have any troubles but I find it odd that when you have 360 troubles at times tech support will tell you to unplug it and let it cool for about 10 mins or so then plug it back in.

I dunno what's inside of that baby killer but as long as you leave it in a spot where air can get to it you'll be fine leaving it alone and plugged in.

lol, that's kinda funny that you need to stick it on a A/C vent...

I don't see the point in why they put that huge thing there. Why didn't they just do like all other Consoles before and after, and just let it plug straight into the console.

You definitely know more about it than the electrical engineers who went to college and designed the thing.

Simple. The reason they didn't just include it in the 360 is BECAUSE it is so huge. Not to mention the fact that the thing in itself is a furnace, no need to add even more heat to the 360.

You must have a defective unit, the x36 and it's power brick don't produce much heat.
