for me fallout 3 sucks because of 1 particular reason - bethesda dudes didn't release patch for their crappy crash of game... I didn't see even an intro... it just crashes after I click on new game... I can only imagine the atmosphere of that game because of the music that it has in main menu...
The Whore Scenario is quite pathetic, taking drugs gets boring and unnecessary and the game is quite easy
Try the mods.
I use Welcome to the Wasteland on Very Hard and it's a good deal more challenging. You really have to save your stimpaks and when you get a rad-away you treat it like gold because you really need it to survive with the increased radiation levels. Also ammo is a lot more scarce.
I hate to say it but... yeah, definitely Oblivion with Guns.
